What to expect on the day of the conference.

8:00-8:30am Registration check in. You will receive a pen and folder with paper and a list of your conference choices, a map of the building showing the locations of workshop rooms, rest rooms, the vendor area, and dining area. You will also get a name tag showing your name and home town. There will be a light breakfast offered (dough nuts and such) in the lower level near the the vendor area during this time. It will be a good time to check out the vendor area and to check the information boards to see where workshops will be held. It is also a nice time to visit with friends old and new.

8:30-8:45 Welcome and introductions/orientation. An over view of the conference, workshops, where rooms are located, as well as brief information on presenters and

resources provided.

8:45-9:30 Keynote speaker Andrea Ferrier will speak on her homeschooling experiences in Iowa, connections between home schooling and home life, and the state of Home Schooling in Iowa.
